Appelate Review of Judical Decisions in Civil Cases in the New Procedural Reform

The final qualification paper presents a comprehensive analysis of appeal proceedings in civil trial: from its fundamental theoretical bases to the actual innovations of 2019 introduced both in chapter 39 of the Civil Procedure Code and in the basic Federal constitutional laws regulating the judicial system of the Russian Federation. The work consists of introduction, two chapters divided into 6 paragraphs, conclusion and bibliography. The first chapter is devoted to the study of the history of the development of the Russian Institute of appeal, its concept, characteristics, types, objects and subjects. The second chapter examines the new courts of appeal of general jurisdiction, the stages of appeal in the view of the novelties which have entered into force and the final powers of the appellate instance. The conclusion contains the main results reflecting the advantages and disadvantages of the recent judicial changes and also the assumption of further reform of this verification proceedings.
