New Technologies in the Film Industry as a Tool of Film Products' Promotion

Over the past decades, the entertainment sector has been rapidly improving, both creative and technological components have progressed. On average, people use gadgets for at least 4 hours a day, which shows how much technology has entered people's lives. This study considers new technologies in cinema as a way to promote film products and audience attitudes to this phenomenon. The purpose of this study is to study the audience’s attitude to the use of new technologies in film products. By conducting a series of online focus groups, as well as constructing a movie watching model for respondents, it was possible to identify the main drivers and barriers that affect the viewer's decision to watch a movie product.
