Online Activism in Russia Based on the Cyberactivism 2.0 Model

This work is dedicated to the study of the role of online petitions based on the Cyberactivism 2.0 model. The research is based on study of the petitions created as part of three online movements that were conducted in Russia in 2019. The study found that an online petition can serve as a media agenda and also as a starting point for the emergence of online movements.
