Given the emergence of two-sided markets and its intrusion into a wider range of fields the status quo of the market situation changes drastically. With implementation of two-sided markets’ structure into taxi industry it is possible to balance spatial distribution of drivers through pricing strategy. The aim of the paper is to compare different forms of pricing mechanisms and find out the one that produces the most profit. For that matter the model that helps to reach equilibrium spatial distribution of taxis is used. It is assumed that surge pricing will have the best performance due to the research of the related literature. The data of San Francisco from Uber.Movement with some simulation is used to verify the model.
