Entrepreneur Soft Skills Development

Abstract. To successfully manage own business, people must have developed soft skills to be able to solve problems, make decisions, manage people and interact with them. Entrepreneurs with a high level of development of soft skills receive important advantages in their work. Thus, the consequences of skill development can be long-term and can continue to shape relationships between entrepreneurs and others while they are conducting business. This work addresses the problem of the low level of development of soft skills of Perm entrepreneurs. In the theoretical part, a list of the studied soft skills was revealed and possible ways of developing these skills were described. In the practical part, using the methodology from the Soft Skills Laboratory, the level of development of soft skills of the entrepreneur and the level of their importance in the professional activity of the entrepreneur were identified. As a result, recommendations were developed on the development of soft skills of Perm entrepreneurs. These recommendations were given both to the entrepreneurs themselves and the Center of Proactive Development “Ermelis”, which is engaged in the development of entrepreneurs and implements these recommendations in order to solve the problem of the low level of development of soft skills of Perm entrepreneurs and help them achieve absolute professionalism in their field.
