The present mixed methods research was designed to explore migrant employment strategies at industrial enterprises and their labour conditions. The study included several steps for analysis and combined both quantitative and qualitative research methods. According to the results of the study, there are different search methods used by migrant workers to get information about vacancies on the production enterprise. One of the major findings of this study is the role of the outstaffing agency. We claim that it took the mediation function, building in the previously established chain “migrant – his networks – employer” and taking the place in between the contacts and the employer, sometimes even replacing the social networks in this process.
