The study investigates the identity of the descendants of Lithuanian exiles and special settlers of the 1940-1940s from the Lithuanian SSR to Siberia. The study is based on interviews and questionnaires conducted with descendants forcibly expelled from the Lithuanian SSR to Siberia during mass deportations from 1941 to 1953. A total of 47 people took part in the study. In the framework of this work, we consider the collective memory of the group and the issues of using the Lithuanian language as an important factor in identity.
