The work examines the fortifications of various cultures on the territory of the South and Middle Prikamye in the first half of the first millennium. The work highlights the features of fortifications of the settlements of Glyadnov, Mazunin, Kara-Abyz, Pianobor, Bakhmutin, Azelin and Imenkov cultures in this region. Settlements are analyzed according to the criteria selected by us, with the help of which common and distinctive features are distinguished.
