Process Approach Application in the Recruitment of Athletes

Significance of the study. In a professional basketball club, athletes play a significant role. Competition results depend on selection process of athletes in the organization. These results could be a determining factor for the existence of the organization. Problem statement. The majority of sports managers have no special methods for recruiting athletes, while this process becomes one of the most important for the sports organization Solutions. The research was conducted in the basketball club «PARMA». A survey and interview with the general manager were conducted to understand the level of awareness about the process approach management and process of recruiting athletes in order to create a business process. Results. The data collected were analyzed. After that the business process of recruiting was compiled and implementation recommendations of this process were proposed. Conclusion. The business process will help to increase the efficiency of recruiting process and implementation recommendations would allow employees to restructure as comfortably as possible.
