The final bachelor thesis on the topic "Modernization of urban transport system based on modeling" includes 59 pages of text, tables - 3, diagrams - 2, form - 4, figures - 6, literature sources used - 51. Key words: logistics, transport logistics, transport, modeling, modernization, transport modeling. Object of study - transport logistics. The subject of the study is the modernization of the tram route based on modeling. A theoretical study was carried out by the method of analysis of literary and normative sources. A practical study was carried out by creating a simulation model in the AnyLogic program using standard tools of its library based on the laws of probability theory. Due to the fact that the rapid development and expansion of the borders of cities is currently underway, it is necessary to take measures to build and modernize existing transport routes. This is necessary to improve people's living standards, increase their comfort. In this work, a modernized model of the movement of tram route No. 52 in the city of St. Petersburg is developed. It was proposed to replace the rolling stock with the modern Vityaz-M model in order to increase the demand for public passenger transport, increase the comfort and safety of movement for passengers. The practical value of this work lies in the fact that the developed model can help in developing a real project for the modernization of various transport routes existing in the city of St. Petersburg. When implementing the concept of developing a transport network in St. Petersburg, it is necessary to pay attention to tram routes in the south-west of the city, as they need to be replaced by rolling stock and reduced traffic intervals due to the high level of passenger traffic.
