This work is devoted to the analysis of the autobiographical texts of a Russian entrepreneur and writer Alexey Alexeevich Tikhonov (1853 - 1914), known by the reading public at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries under the pseudonym Lugovoi. The relevance of the work is connected to the study of the self-representation of a Russian businessman in his Memories based on new approaches in autobiographical research, as well as with the introduction of A.A. Tikhonov-Lugovoi’s Memories into the scientific circulation (1853-1914).
