The process of getting to work, as a rule, causes a lot of stress. In order to adjust it, most companies use adaptation programs, because the correct implementation of this process determines the effectiveness of subsequent actions in the work process. Also, when managers developing adaptation programs, they often build them on the same principle, not considering the characteristics of different generations, which leads to high turnover and low efficiency of employees. This research is based on a comparative analysis of adaptation programs in Russia and abroad, and a comparative analysis of adaptation programs implemented in 5 large Russian industrial enterprises. As a result of this research is the formed adaptation model considering the characteristics of employees of different generations, namely for representatives of the baby boomers, X and y generations. Moreover, the recommendations for implementing the adaptation model have been developed.
