The aim of the final qualification work is to create a functioning model of the seaport, simulating the implementation of basic technological operations. The aim of the work is to present a simulation model capable of describing the technological operations taking place at a sea cargo port. The tasks are a theoretical description of the sea container terminal, processing technology for containers arriving by road, presentation of container transportation of the twenty-first century, possible risks and shortcomings of cargo transportation by sea, description of the equipment of the container terminal and a brief overview of the Baltic region of the Russian Federation. Other tasks include a description of the operations taking place in the seaport, a description of container handling options and a description of various modeling options and elements of the queuing theory. Within the framework of theoretical information, the concept of a sea container terminal is presented, various options for handling and handling containers are described. The main trends in the shipping industry were presented in the work, along with the presentation of ports in the northwestern region of Russia. This paper presents the algorithms for the movement of containers and the operations performed with them on the territory of the sea cargo port. As a basis for modeling, mathematical descriptions of the used distribution of a random variable were presented, as well as the concepts of queuing systems were given. The presented model can be upgraded by increasing the number of objects used: storage warehouses, material handling cranes, gantry gantry cranes.
