State Regulation of Solid Household Wastes Using’s Processing аnd Utilization: the Case of Saint-Petersburg

THE SUMMARY The degree work on a subject «State regulation of the processing and disposal of municipal solid waste (on the example of St. Petersburg)» is devoted to studying the current situation in Russia in the field of solid household waste management and the introduction of a recycling system in the Russian Federation and, in particular, in St. Petersburg. The strategy for implementing this method includes the establishment of new legislation in the field of solid waste management, the creation of a public-private partnership and the provision of the city with the necessary infrastructure. The necessary calculations were carried out to determine the optimal number of enterprises in the field of processing. The substantiation of the expected results of the implementation of this strategy is given. Key words: separate collection, municipal solid waste, waste disposal, ecology.
