Interpretations in Psychoanalysis

The aim of the study is to investigate the peculiarities of the concept of interpretation in the context of psychoanalysis. The objectives of the study are to: 1) to study the history of development of the interpretation concept in psychoanalysis; 2) to analyze the semantics of the interpretation concept in the psychoanalytical context; 3) to consider the peculiarities of the interpretive method of the transfer use; 4) to determine the peculiarities of the interpretation application in psychoanalytical practice. Proceeding from the tasks, in the course of the research it was considered how the meaning invested in this concept has changed over time, and the definition of this concept was given. Also the semantics of the concept of interpretation in a psychoanalytical context was analyzed, as well as the connection of this concept with translation and modern philosophy, which made it possible to identify the tasks and possibilities of interpretation in psychoanalysis. In addition, the problem of restricting the interpretation method was identified, the evolution of the concept of transference as a medium of the interpretation process was studied, and the methodological connection of transference and interpretation in psychoanalysis was analyzed, which, in turn, made it possible to determine the peculiarities of interpretation as a psychoanalytic method, and to identify its objectives and qualities in this context. The methodology of applying the interpretation based on the psychoanalytic case was considered; the criteria, involved in the analytic interpretation strategy, were specified; several cases, illustrating the peculiarities of applying the interpretation in the work with patients, were given. As a result of the work, the hypothesis of the research was confirmed, that there are peculiarities of interpretation in the psychoanalytic discourse, which consist in such aspects of this concept, as its development, connection with translation and modern philosophy, methodology of its use in work with the transfer and application in practical work.
