Currently, project management is an integral part of oil and gas service companies, not only foreign ones but also Russian. Project activity enables solving some parts of management tasks more efficiently than traditional and operational management principles. With growing requirements and importance of projects in the oil and gas industry, it is becoming increasingly difficult for companies to cope with rising costs and risks. Project effectiveness is declining. The question arises: “Does the existing risk management model cope with its task or not?”. The purpose of the study is to develop a structure of risk management model in an oilfield services company.
