Research of the Problem of Using the Results of LLVM Pointer Analyses in Relation to the Elbrus Architecture

The value of pointer analysis in general and of strict aliasing in particular for modern compiler technologies was reviewed. The strict aliasing implementation in LLVM library was reviewed. The algorithm of LLVM library pointer analysis results borrowing for Elbrus architecture was developed. Performance of programs compiled with Clang compiler with borrowed pointer analysis results as well as without them was measured. The comparison of obtained results was made.
