Implementation of the Concept of "Smart City" in Urban Environment Management (the Case of St.Petersburg)

Thesis on the theme "Implementation of the Concept of "Smart City" in Urban Environment Management (the Case of St. Petersburg) " is devoted to the study of the influence of smart city technologies on the quality of the urban environment and to developing recommendations for the development of smart cities and improving the mechanisms for their implementation. In the process of writing this paper, the legal framework for the implementation of the smart city project and the projects aimed at increasing the quality of the urban environment in the Russian Federation were analyzed, and an analytical review of methods for implementing the smart city concept in the world was conducted. The analysis of the methods for assessing the quality of the urban environment and the progress of digital transformation of the urban economy was conducted, the analysis of the impact of the smart city indicators on the urban environment quality index was carried out. State programs implemented in Saint Petersburg aimed at digital transformation of the urban economy and improving the quality of the urban environment are studied. A survey of the residents of St. Petersburg on problematic issues of the urban environment was conducted. The recommendations for improving the methods for assessing the quality of the urban environment and the progress of the digital transformation of the urban economy and the recommendations for improving the urban environment of St. Petersburg based on "smart city" technologies were developed.
