Improving the Supply Chain of Imported Equipment for Manufacturing Enterprises

Each country is engaged in the production and production of minerals. Historically, four countries became leaders in the production of industrial machine tools: the USA, Germany, England and the USSR. After some time, this list has changed. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, domestic machine-tool industry almost disappeared. Currently, the purchase of new imported equipment, which is not provided in Russia. In this work, I’m going to look for actual topic of supplies of imported equipment to industrial enterprises. The thesis consists of three parts - introduction, main part, conclusion. The main part contains the theoretical aspects of the problem, the characteristics of the company and an analysis of its activities, identifying problems during the equipment delivery process and proposing solutions. The main goal of the work is to develop recommendations for improving the supply chain of equipment. Tasks that are solved in the process of writing a work: - Analysis of the activities of the company «RUSMASH Engineering»; - Analysis of the main problems encountered in the process of supplying equipment; - Offer options to address them. In work in detail and described the process of equipment delivery from Germany to Russia, analyzed all the nuances that appear during transportation. The problem of choosing a carrier and choosing the optimal route was solved. Based on the analysis and calculations, recommendations were made and conclusions were drawn. The calculations were carried out by solving the multifactor problem of choosing a carrier, the optimal route was calculated using a network diagram. The results of the calculations show the results of the calculations and recommendations for improving the process of equipment delivery and optimizing the activities of RUSMASH Engineering LLC.
