Improving the Efficiency of Supply Chains Based on Modern Information Technology

In recent years, the concept of digitalization has become a trend in the context of the existence of companies in various fields. Transport logistics is no exception, as there are innovative technologies that can increase the efficiency and productivity of providing transportation services to the end user. Supply chains are becoming more complex, and transparency in communication between its participants is becoming less, which is why customers do not fully understand the value of the product. In addition, if one of the participants is suspected of dishonesty, then this information becomes quite difficult to confirm. Modern technologies presented in this work can increase the reliability and transparency of supply chains. This work is relevant in connection with trends in the introduction of modern technologies in the field of supply chains. The introduction and subsequent development of these technologies allows companies using them to become more competitive in this industry. The main goal of this work is to form the concept and value of the practice of introducing innovative transport technologies. In this work, the definitions and main differences of modern information technologies are described and analyzed, as well as modern technologies that can be implemented in the supply chain are shown. In addition to this, this work contains an analysis of modern information technologies in existing companies. Moreover, there is a project part, which shows an example of increasing the efficiency of supply chains in Gazpromneft-Snabzhenie Company through the introduction of various modern technologies. The expected results of this work are the development of a decentralized supply chain management platform, evaluation of its economic efficiency, as well as the possible use of this work by companies to increase the efficiency of supply chains by introducing modern technologies.
