Digital Rights as an Object of Civil Law Regulation

This work consists of two chapters, four paragraphs in the first chapter and three paragraphs in the second chapter. In the first chapter, the author considers the development prospects and the need to regulate public relations in the field of digital rights. It also analyzes the concept and essence of digital rights enshrined in the norms of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The genesis of this construct from the first draft of the bill was also analyzed. The second chapter of the work is devoted to the problematic aspects of the implementation of certain types of digital rights and ways of their solutions are proposed. The problems of cryptocurrency regulation in Russian legislation are analyzed, as well as the issues of using distributed registry technology, including blockchain technology. The conclusions and suggestions formulated in the study may be useful for the further development and regulation of the legal framework related to digital rights, as well as for practicing lawyers.
