Relevant Applied Issues in the Work of a Modern Translator

Keywords: applied issues, translation practice, interdisciplinarity, translation didactics. This master's thesis considers the relevant applied issues in the work of a modern translator. In the era of globalization, the issues of translation studies affect a variety of human life spheres, thus determining the tendency of the work of a modern translator, which today is undergoing significant changes. The objective of this study is to identify and describe the relevant applied issues of modern translation studies, taking into account the analysis of their implementation in the national educational system. At present, the professional translation industry strives to develop more promising aspects of economic activity, and therefore the qualitative development of the didactics of modern translation studies is capable of providing an educational side of the process of teaching qualified specialists. Besides, the urgency of this research is argued by the need for a qualitative study of this scientific issue, as well as by its focus on achieving important scientific results. The object of this research is a work of a modern translator, and the subject is applied issues of translation studies, which currently determine the main directions of development of fast-evolving translation industry. Consequently, it has been established that the translation studies currently have a practical orientation and is focused on achieving the regularities of translation activity. A characteristic feature of the translation industry in the era of information technology is its interdisciplinarity, which manifests itself both in theoretical and applied aspects.
