Developing the Algorithm for Building the Customer Decision Tree for the Retail Network

This work considers the problem of building the customer decision tree in the retail network. This problem is solved for both set of product-substitutes and set of complementing products. The proposed algorithm selects the most significant pairs of products and estimates the strength of connection for this pairs. The graph was obtained (vertices are products, the edge is the strength of their connection) and hierarchical clustering was conducted. The resulted hierarchical structure was analyzed and visualized by dendrogram.
