Streaming Services and Their Influence on Content Producers on the Modern Media Market

The given work represents research of the market of streaming services and the main streaming platforms, both Russian and foreign. The purpose of work was the studying of influence of streaming services on behaviour of producers of a content in the modern media market. In order to achieve this goal, it was necessary to immerse yourself in the streaming practices in the world in order to understand the reasons for the success of the largest streaming platforms, such as, for example, Netflix, recently launched Disney++; to study the existing models of monetization; to consider the main market trends. The issue of digital piracy, which is very relevant to the market and its impact on video content consumer behavior, was also considered.
