The work is devoted to studying the influence of socio-economic characteristics of the United States on the quality of OpenStreetMap data in the same territory. The paper explores various approaches to assessing the quality of data and searches for the relationships between the characteristics of the population of the territory, the authors of OpenStreetMap and the quality of the data.
