Project Management in Concert Industry

This work is dedicated to project management in concert industry. Music management is a high-risk environment, which requires rich experience and professional training. The aim of the work is to develop recommendations for improving project management in concert industry. The hypothesis of the research suggests that the use of project management methods in organizing concert activities can reduce the burden on music promoters, managers, and performers. The study was conducted using the phenomenological method and the in-depth interview method. Based on the results recommendations for the following areas were made: 1. Time and event production 2. Team and human resources 3. Information and communications 4. Partnership and stakeholders 5. Planning the event environment 6. Risks A large field is opened for further research, including the study of the impact of using various project management methods on achieving success in concert activities.
