In the work the research of cartographic signs and their displays on the map is conducted, the process of creating a cartographic resource is considered. Such libraries as Vue.js and Leaflet.js were chosen as development tools and on their basis the geographical information system is being developed. For the server part, the process of using such tools as Mojolicious Perl, Swagger Openapi is considered. In the process, the choice of tools for development is justified and the internal structure of the developed system is described. The final qualification work contains 132 pages, including the application. It contains 27 illustrations and 4 tables. In the work 41 sources of information were used.
