With the growing globalization trend, logistics is becoming more and more popular as appliable science, since the competition market is growing at a significant pace, which means that the level of logistics service and the costs associated with it are gaining increasing importance in the activities of many companies. The relevance of this work is justified by the statistics presented in the study regarding the size of the logistics markets in various countries, as well as the level of development of logistics processes in Russia related to world statistics. Thus, the logistics market is one of the largest markets in the world. For 2018, the global logistics market is valued at $ 9.25 trillion. The world leaders are the USA, China, Japan, India and Germany. Russia in this ranking has a market volume of $ 265 billion. At the same time, the level of the share of logistics costs in the country's GDP is important. The smaller it is, the more efficient the country's logistics. The USA is the leader in this indicator with an 8% contribution of logistics costs to the country's GDP. The level of Russia is 16.1%. In this paper, warehousing logistics will be considered at the integrated element in the supply chain. In this format, its functioning is one of the most important factors in the success of the company. Optimization of warehousing processes, in turn, is a way for a company to reduce costs associated with strategic and operational logistics activities, as well as improve the level of logistics service. Optimization of the functioning of the warehouse complex will be considered on the example of the company Zarubezhneft JSC. This is a state-owned company whose main activity is the exploration, production, refining and marketing of oil and services connected with it. The importance of warehousing logistics for companies of this industry is difficult to overestimate. The main objective of this study is to develop a project to improve the quality of functioning of warehouse complexes using the example of Zarubezhneft JSC. Improving the quality of functioning of warehouse complexes means reducing costs, increasing the level of the company's logistics services, as well as improving the company's key performance indicators in terms of warehouse logistics.
