Conflict of Interest in Public Service

The paper discusses the concept of conflict of interests in the public service and analyzes main regulatory acts concerning this institution. In addition, the impact of conflict of interest on the occurrence of corruption and the activities of the special commissions on observance of requirements to office behavior of Federal state employees and settlement of conflict of interests. This paper reflects the main characteristics of this phenomenon that arise in connection with its interpretation and analysis of the problem, as well as the prospects for the development of a mechanism for countering the personal interest of civil servants. The article analyzes the experience of foreign countries in the sphere of conflict of interest settlement and prevention.
