Criminal Law Protection of Computer Programs and Databases

The Diploma is dedicated to the problem of the current state of computer programs and databases in the criminal legality. The Diploma consists of introduction, three chapters, divided into 2-3 paragraphs, conclusion and bibliography. The first chapter is devoted to the study of the problem of computer "piracy", as well as the subject of crime and licensing issues. The second chapter examines the composition of the illegal use of computers and databases under article 146 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The third chapter includes an analysis of judicial practice in cases of violations of copyright and related rights to computer programs and databases for 2019. In conclusion, the main conclusions are recorded that reflect the purpose of the study, namely the identification of the characteristics of the qualification of crimes related to violation of copyright and related rights to computer programs and databases.
