The Role of Real and Virtual Social Networks in the Creation of an Entrepreneurial Startup

The interaction of various social actors among themselves within the framework of the field of startups and the institution of business is described as an important aspect of the development of the entire sphere, as well as individual startups, businesses, enterprises. In this case, this interaction can occur in different conditions, having various types of exposure. This work attempts to identify the role of various types of social networks, including real and virtual, strong and weak, in the formation of an entrepreneurial startup and business development from the point of view of the founders of enterprises. The work was carried out in the design of a qualitative analysis with consideration of the experience of Russian entrepreneurs in creating startups and developing businesses. The empirical data used for the analysis was collected using the semi-formalized interview method conducted with representatives of the Russian startup community directly involved in the business development process. Methods of included observation and self-observation were also used. The results demonstrate the distinctive features of the Russian sphere of startups.
