Every year the industry discovers new ways to make people travel more often and spend much money. Nowadays gastrotourism is one of the most interesting and ambitious directions of tourism. However, the scientific works analyze various aspects of gastrotourism in conjunction with destination branding, not giving a clear picture of the strategy for business who provide touristic outbound travel services in this sector. The present study aims to provide the criteria of successful business product and marketing strategy that would be the intermediary between the destination of gastrotourism and a consumer of the Russian market. Companies and entrepreneurs can use the outcomes of the study in order to optimize and improve existing products and marketing strategies as well as to create new one.
