The paper considers theoretical factors and the practical implementation of an automated system for testing knowledge in the framework of the educational process. Implementation is a set of programs designed to solve the problems of automation and centralized accounting of checks of student decisions. As part of the study, the advantages and disadvantages of existing automated verification systems were studied. A comparative analysis of services and tools was carried out in the work, as a result of which, requirements were put forward for integrating the verification system into the software ecosystem used by the HSE in the entire educational process. The implemented verification system as part of the educational process compiles the solutions, generates tests for it and evaluates it, as well as provides instant feedback to the participants so that they can iteratively solve the exercise
