The Role of Telemedicine Technology in the Development of Medical Rehabilitation: the Experience of Russia and Foreign Countries

In the course of this work, the prospects of using telemedicine technologies in the field of medical rehabilitation in Russia and foreign countries were studied. The necessity of developing medical rehabilitation in the Russian Federation was substantiated, the possibility of using telemedicine technologies in medical rehabilitation, and the experience of Russia and foreign countries in this field were studied. An author's study was conducted, during which the attitude of medical personnel and patients to telerehabilitation was clarified. Based on the information received, recommendations were made on the introduction of telemedicine technologies both at the state level in order to expand the availability of rehabilitation assistance and by individual medical organizations in order to improve the provision of medical rehabilitation services.
