These factors have both external and internal character and reflect not only the motives but also the catalysts and barriers to protest behavior. Previous studies have analyzed factors of different nature individually, while in this research work it is important to identify their interconnection. To achieve this research goal, an online survey was conducted among young people living in Moscow who wish to actively participate in the political life of the country, and a significant influence of internal factors on the probability of participation in protest actions was revealed.
