This paper provides the overview of the literature on subject in question, both theoretical and empirical, the description of methodological approach of the statistical experiment, data tables and results. The results gained reveal the differences in possible outcomes of preferring standardized and studentized residuals over their deleted analogues and vice versa, so some best-practice recommendations are gained.
