Modern computing power and the development of various sciences have opened up opportunities for the humankind to develop artificial intelligence with a great potential. Gradually, in addition to programming of AI systems, there appeared a problem of testing and validation of these systems in order to analyze their behavior and identify weaknesses. At some point, it became rather difficult to validate and evaluate artificial intelligence systems manually. Therefore, a need for automated platforms for competitions between AI systems has appeared, but despite this, there are not so many platforms for such a purpose nowadays. This work describes the common principles of work of such platforms, lists the key features of the existing ones, and considers the ideas and technical features of development of a new platform that offers new approaches to solving the existing problem. This paper contains 41 pages, 25 pictures, 6 source code listings, 19 references. Keywords: artificial intelligence, programming, development, competition, platform
