The Role of Digital Technology in Changing the Practices of Inside-the-family Communication in Rural Areas

This work explores the use of digital technologies by rural residents to communicate with family members. The work is based on in-depth interviews collected from 2012 to 2018. The work examines motivations for adopting and using technologies, the channels of intra-family communication used, and the reasons for communication.
