Postpositions in Russian Language

The paper discusses general information about postpositions in Russian. It is also compared factors that affect the position of the adlog in the noun phrase group. It is investigated the syntactic types of the dependent and how the dependent words influence the postposition of the adlog . Various types of connection are considered in a phrase with adlogs and the variation in the choice of case for some adlogs. Postposition stranding is also described and possible causes of this phenomenon, which relates only to postpositions, but not prepositions, are given.
