Frequency dictionaries are one of the most effective methods of studying the author's idiostyle. In this paper, this method will be used to analyze Nabokov's novels " Camera obscura "and" King, Queen, Jack " in order to identify linguistic and statistical Parallels between the two texts under consideration. The hypothesis of similarity is put forward on the basis of the plot and compositional identity of the novels. The paper will identify such key concepts for the analysis of the writer's frequency vocabulary as "the author's concept sphere"," language personality "and"individual author's frequency vocabulary". In addition to the full texts of the novels, isolated text segments will be considered, each of which is an example of a speech microgenre. During the analysis, it is planned to identify the main denotative spheres and key lexemes that are included in the core of frequency lists.
