The present paper describes a communications management projects as an important factor in the management of projects. The project corresponds to the first objective of a research project that aims to develop management recommendations for the development of cross-cultural communications in international projects. Through this bibliographic review, we seek to determine the existing deficiencies in relation to the management of communications in the projects, and then from that point on, design a recommendation that improves and formalizes the management processes. Diversity is increasing in many countries, and globalization is increasing the number of international projects. Language and cultural differences can be a source of creativity and expanded perspectives, or a source of difficulties and misunderstandings. The literature on cultural differences is growing steadily and currently provides very useful conceptual foundations for understanding the different perspectives that emerge when managing intercultural differences in projects. Multicultural project team managers can increase the effectiveness of management using this study.
