The Java Development Kit (JDK) is a set of tools needed to develop, debug and run programs written in Java —— one of the most widely-spread programming languages. The reference implementation of the JDK is OpenJDK. It is completely open-source and widely used in production applications. Being the official reference implementation of Java, OpenJDK currently supports several computer architectures. One of architectures unsupported so far is RISC-V. It is an open standard processor architecture created for both academic purposes and use in practical computers. The result of this work is an implementation of arithmetic operations and basic mathemati- cal functions in OpenJDK port for RISC-V architecture. Some other important JVM components, such as static Java-methods and and helper functions calls, have been implemented as well.
