Exhibition Activities as a Way to Promote Innovation in Developing Countries Innovation exhibitions have a major role in the process of promoting innovation activities in the developed countries, in developing countries these exhibitions do not achieve expected results in the process of developing innovation activities. The research is aimed at understanding the role of innovation exhibitions in the process of promoting innovation in developing countries. The research may bring promising contribution as recommendations to develop exhibition activities in the sphere of innovation. The work is based on case studies of the most famous innovation exhibitions in the Syrian Arab Republic, the Russian Federation, as well as the international exhibition of inventions in Geneva, and the analysis of theoretical concepts that reflect the place and role of innovation exhibitions in the process of promoting innovation. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the results help the organizers of the innovation exhibitions to improve their work and achieve their goals. Also, in the literature of innovation management, there are no studies aimed at studying the role of innovation exhibitions in promoting the innovation process.
