Self Destruction of Career Because of Internal Pressure of Authority of the Employee

The research is devoted to the study of the influence of internal conflict of a person-an employee of a company or an entrepreneur on the self-destruction of his career. This work is relevant primarily for trainers working with companies, company managers and human development specialists and managers in the field of high potential employees’ development. The idea to investigate this phenomenon arose from the authors ' observation of how brilliant employees who demonstrate high results in their job roles become managers and in this role their career fades. Or employees get stuck in one place, moving from one company to another, and gradually lose motivation. The study reflects the analysis of internal conflicts in the focus group formed for the study. The hypothesis about the predominance of the Oedipus period conflict as the main motive for self-destruction of the employee's career due to the pressure of the employee's Internal Authority due to the incomplete process of forming the Ideal Self is proposed and confirmed. The Authors empirically obtained data on the distribution of certain identified internal conflicts of people in the focus group under study. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of using psychoanalytically oriented coaching to help an employee understand their internal conflict was conducted in comparison with a group that has never had psychoanalytically oriented coaching or psychotherapy. Was the revealed regularities of the development of the internal conflict in the course of coaching sessions. The authors were also interested in determining how psychoanalytically oriented coaching can be an effective tool in short - or medium-term work with an employee and what factors this depends on. Separately, the authors analyzed how the internal conflict for entrepreneurs and owners as well as how and where entrepreneurs play out their conflict.
