Business Process Optimization Based on Functional and Cost Analysis

The paper presents a study of the improvement of business processes by applying functional cost analysis (FCA). Currently, various companies are striving to develop and improve the work of their enterprises. The effectiveness and progressiveness of the work of companies depends on the functioning of business processes, thus, reengineering of processes allows to focus on customers to satisfy their needs. One of the methods of reengineering is the functional-cost analysis, where the key goal is to ensure the consumer properties of the object with minimal costs for their manifestation. To explore this method, various literature will be studied in order to master the fundamental concepts and definitions. Various methodologies such as IDEF0 and IDEF3 will be used in the work, and the results will be presented in tables and graphs to compare the values before and after applying the optimization method. Overall, the main goal of the paper is to optimize and automazi bysiness processes by reducing time, money and work costs.
