Transformation of the Organizational Structure of the Company in Accordance with the New Strategy

This paper describes a study that examines strategy-driven transforming real estate agency organizational structure. Within the present environment of increasingly aggressive competition, all factors that affect effective strategy implementation are becoming the key to successful business activity. One of these factors is organizational structure relationship of which with a strategy of an organization has aroused a lot of interest among scholars and practitioners. Organizational structure is an element that makes employees a part of the working process and may both facilitate and interfere strategy implementation. Thus, for every company the question of building a structure that suits the ever-changing strategy is a constant priority during the whole lifecycle of an organization. This issue has been an important topic of theoretical concentration and many fundamental and contemporary works have been done including the ones connected with different businesses in service industry, but there is practically no work that analyses strategy-structure relationship for companies in real estate service industry. Nowadays real estate agencies face the problem of choosing the strategy on hostile market. The researched company is a real estate agency that has recently introduced a new strategy and now needs to transform the organizational structure according to it. The general purpose of the proposed project is going to be to develop a possible organizational structure for a real estate agency in accordance with the new recently introduced strategy. The project includes five sections: introduction to the study, a main part, a conclusion, references and an annex.
