The Role of the Government in the Development of Social Entrepreneurship in Russia

This investigation contains the analysis of the interaction between the Russian state and social entrepreneurship, an assessment of the activities of the infrastructure for state support and development (regional social innovation centers) and identification of problems that social entrepreneurs face today. Now the Russian state plays an important role in the development of social entrepreneurship, creating an infrastructure for support and development, expanding the legal framework for social entrepreneurship, and providing new areas of activity for social entrepreneurs. It was identified that now, due to the coronavirus pandemic, social enterprises have new problems that need to be solved immediately. Only after solving these problems we can talk about the development of social entrepreneurship in the country. Based on the analysis, recommendations are made for public authorities to overcome the crisis caused by the pandemic by social enterprises, as well as to develop social entrepreneurship in Russia.
