The pharmaceutical industry is crucial for the healthcare system. One of the issues of pharmaceutical companies is the expiration of patent protection for original drugs, which is reflected in the form of a loss of market share and an increase in the share of generic drugs. At the same time, the pricing and administrative conditions of pharmaceutical companies are changing and becoming less profitable. Pharmaceutical companies face the challenge of extending the commercialization period against the backdrop of a large number of barriers and restrictions. The issue of developing a suitable strategy for a pharmaceutical company at the stage of the life cycle when generic drugs are ready to enter the market becomes urgent.
