The purpose of this master thesis is to identify economic factors affecting the behavior of citizens in relation to their own health, as well as methods of influencing them in order to maintain and strengthen the health of the population The subject of this thesis is the economic policy regarding public health. Object - the behavior of the population in relation to the choice of assortment of food products and the volume of their purchase. To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following tasks: 1) Determine the economic causes of obesity; 2) To analyze the impact of obesity on the economy; 3) Determine the direction of the impact of economic policy on the failures of the gastronomic market; 4) Identify the problems and directions of future research in order to improve economic policy in terms of impact on the object of study.
