Development of the Network Structure of the Service Organization: Travel Agency Case

This graduation paper is devoted to the topic of improving the network, organizational structure of a travel company. A network approach to the diagnosis of firms is very important for studying the interactions of organizations, their ability to innovate, learn from each other, develop and form its competitive advantages. The first chapter of the graduation paper includes an overview of the main features of the relations of companies in the framework of interorganizational networks. This chapter provides an analysis of a number of approaches to the study of network organizations. Among them are economic, managerial, relational, and resource approaches. It also discusses the modern ways of analyzing the problems of interorganizational relations. The second chapter is devoted to the diagnosis of the network relationships of the “Marlis-Travel” company and its partners, as well as the identification of problems of their interactions. This chapter includes a description of the company and its partnership network, as well as the program of the company’s network structure research and recommendations for its enhancement. This work consists of an introduction, two chapters, conclusion, a list of used sources of literature and applications. Graduation paper contains twenty-two tables, nineteen figures, five appendices. The graduation paper is composed of one hundred seventy-nine pages, including the appendices.
